Olive Vox Tucson Concert reviews
Despite the rain, it was a great show. Enjoying a good show in the weather was actually pretty cool, with a poncho of course. Olive Vox, my second time seeing them, were solid and engaged the crowd a bit. The light show was AMAZING, and the light structure itself was a functioning work of art. Whoever designed this and made it come to life is pretty talented. If I had to make any sort of criticism, and this is all personal preference, it would be that they were too polished and too much of a production. I liked their slightly edgy garage sound or rawness and how they switched up the sounds and tunes at the other show and live tracks I have heard. They are big time now, and it shows, almost too much for my liking. But that seems to be how the biz works. All in all, a great performance and a great show.
